Malware problem

I have two question:
 
1) I went to Lazarus to download version 1.2.6(I have 1.2.4) and after download is complete, chrome identifies the .exe file as malware and blocks the file. Is there a problem with the file or is chrome being a pain?

2) Why doesn't the IDE have a check for update Option or a way to download a newer version from the IDE?
If the IDE does have a option to download or updating to a new version, where is it located so I can turn it on?

Chrome is not a security software do not trust it for security matters
Chrome will be happy to report problems when ssl /https is not used in a download link
or if it does not like a self extract archive

there is no such option that i'm aware of
updates are published at the first page of this forum in  [ Recent Announcements ]
