Extraction AR archive Files

Is there a library  for the extraction AR archive . OR headers file Translated for libarchive

Well I'm not gay but in your position I would add some more info about what AR archive is or a link to a more informative site about the archive format and see if any guy comes up with any info at all. Just to be on the safe side and let my homophobia to surface I'll keep my distance from this thread for a couple of days..

The .a files that come with Free Pascal are made by AR (or in case of internal assembler/archiver FPC itself).  libarchive is it in library form.

Note that these (both binary ar and libarchive) originate in Unix, and various unices may package different versions. Linux generally leans towards GNU's implementations.

Yes.. i speak about this type .it's not compressed ..it is used to combine several files into one

I'm not aware of such header.  Probably because FPC supports native TAR generation and extraction already for simple archiving.
