Identifier completion - Ctrl+Space not working.
« on: October 23, 2014, 06:56:48 pm »
For some odd reason I cannot get identifier completion to work when pressing Ctrl+Space - however if I just adds the dot after the object and waits for a second, the dropdown list appears.

For the same reason I updated from 1.2.4 to 1.2.6 and did a make clean bigide, but still no luck.

OS is Linux Mint 17

Any clues?

Have you tried Tools->Rescan FPC Source Directory ?

Makes no difference - and as said identifier completion works when just typing the dot after the object, but crtl+space does not.

maybe your OS is capturing ctrl space.

Try to map the completion to another keycombo  in Tools options

Thank you Martin, you made my day.

It used to work, but apparently some changes have been made in Mate (I guess) lately - remapping to shift+space and it works.
