...

Most CCR components have neither a wiki page nor a maintainer. It is bad.
I updated the wiki page so that all comps are at least listed. I will write another message about the situation.
A handy tip to pass on -  If the ccr component maintainer puts a 'readme.txt' in the root of their svn code folder, SourceForge web interface will automatically display it.
GPL Apps: Health MonitorRetro Ski Run
OnlinePackageManager Components: LazAutoUpdate, LongTimer, PoweredBy, ScrollText, PlaySound, CryptINI

First we must find maintainers for those components. :)
Mostly Lazarus trunk and FPC 3.2 on Manjaro Linux 64-bit.

Yes, I don't believe anybody has objections for that. Feel free to commit code there.

Apparently I don't have commit access to the repo. I will commit those patches when I get it.

If you commit for a component, please update http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Using_the_Lazarus-ccr_SVN_repository#Directory_owners too. Then we know who to contact.

If possible, can one of you give us some light on why a patch that seems to work since 2010 is still not applied:

An identical patch was posted in 2010 to solve this same problem. But for some reason it was not accepted and it seems like there is a mysterious reason to keep FreeOnTerminate = True.

Not to break working code, we might have to keep CheckSynchronize call. Although I don't think it should be part of the timer.

Reported as fixed in Mantis: http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=27667#c82145

How do I load Product Build to test it?

You need to build trunk version of Lazarus by yourself. Or use fpcup or alike : https://bitbucket.org/reiniero/fpcup/downloads
