Lazarus Install
« on: September 01, 2014, 03:30:05 pm »
Lazarus 1.2.4 installed on a 32 bit netbook with Linux Ubuntu lts 14:04.

At the end, as I always do, I opened the Lazarus and pressed F9. The application ran normally and pressed x to close the form. Everything worked fine. From there, the behavior started to get weird. Pressed F9 and after a few seconds the form went dark. When I press the x to close the form, a message is displayed: 'Project.exe raised exception class 'External: SIGFPE' . I put a button and wrote a close the onclick event but when pressed F9 button did not appear, the form was dark, pressed ox to close and the same message appeared. Added an edit and everything worked fine. Anyone know what might be happening?

No idea, but Unity was always the culprit in Ubuntu. If you can, try using some other DE. If it works, then you know who the devil is. You can also run lazarus from terminal, it will output what happens behind the scene.
