Fortes Report Installation problem

Hello,

I am trying to install Fortes report for Lazarus on my Lazarus 1.2.4, but it's impossible because of this bug shown in the image attached.  I tried with 1.2.4 Laz only on systems with both Win XP 64 and Win 7 32 and latest version of Fortes (3.2.4). Result is absolutely the same. While compiling i get an error saying variable types do not match. Now if i had written the source i would just look for my mistake, but as it is impossibleworking package to have source mistake i am at a loss what to do. What is the problem?

The Fortes Report version you downloaded is from 2010. It only compiles (unchanged) with an older version of fpc/lazarus.

Are you familiar with SVN?

You can checkout a newer source like this:

Or download a snapshot from here. (there is a download snapshot button).

The last trunk will compile correctly.

And no... no idea what SVN is, being the newbie I am  . But I try to learn as much as possible and stop being a newb. This will be checked out right away.
