Is anyone here pretty experienced with the bug tracker?
I submitted a patch for improving one of the example projects ("Examples" folder) and it was incorporated into the trunk very quickly. But when I submitted a brand new example project at the same time (this was a couple weeks ago), nothing further happened with it. I'm not sure if there's some required document/information that I need to include, if my report just got looked over/missed, or if I just need to be patient (I know there are always new reports coming in and maybe it's just overwhelming to be adding stuff when there are more critical priorities).
Basically, I'm just curious if there's any specific information or document that I need to be sure to include in order to provide a report with the best possible chance of being incorporated.
Any suggestions? I'm thinking of starting a Wiki Page to parallel
this one, but on the topic of *using* the bug tracker as a reporter, rather than how to moderate it. To cover things like what exactly the various status' mean, what sort of things should be submitted as a bug, etc.
