Can you connect using Flamerobin or isql?
Are you sure the connection string is ok?
Have you followed the installation steps specified in
http://code.sd/products/turbobird/

I have merged it, they are nice changes, I have gave you a full access, you can modify in the main branch of turbobird: https://github.com/motaz/turbobird
