Missing IDE "Print" menu item
« on: April 21, 2014, 09:01:21 pm »
I compiled a recent Lazarus IDE version 1.3 (revision 43535, win32) and noticed that the Print option of the File menu is missing (it is usually between Clean directory... and Restart). It does not seem to have migrated elsewhere in the menu system. Anyone else found the same? Is this a deliberate omission, or some fault in my setup?

You must be missing the package:

printer4lazide or similar.

Ah, in the Install/Uninstall packages there is indeed listed under Available for installation both printer4lazarus 0.5 and printers4lazide 0.0. However, the printer4lazarus package has a small red cross icon overlay. Does this mean the package is damaged or corrupted somehow? (I can add and install it, but no Print menu item gets added to the IDE.)

I noticed this also in trunk.
But there is a new Menuitem called "Export as HTML" which I find nicer than the old "Print". The ouput I got is looking much cleaner and I can preview it in the Web-Browser before I print it from there ;)
