Hi all,
I used to develop with Delphi several years ago, and as I had a little project to do, thought Lazarus would be an ideal choice to try it out.
I would like to contact a host (on the same LAN), and stream a binary image (png) from it - that's it. 'Ideally' I'd like to do this without any third party plug-ins, but reading around I cannot find enough documentation on fcl-net, to determine if this is possible?
Environment: Windows only
Protocol: planning to use tcpip, to contact the know host, and for the host to respond with a binary file stream (which this utility will then download)
Firstly - is this possible using the fcl-net lib, and if so, could you kindly point me to an example?
Many thanks for any help!
Marc
