access violation

I downloaded the new Lazarus 1.0.14 64 bit for Windows to run on my Windows 7 64 bit computer (8 GB memory, Athlon X3) and get constant "Access Violation" errors. Sometimes they appear immediately after I launch the program, and no matter what, the error will always appear when I bring up the menu editor and try to add a sub-menu. I also tried the new release candidate and have the same issue. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've had this error occasionally.
Mostly when I wanted to add a menu to an item that was partially hidden.
Haven't seen it for a while with the stable versions though (32 bit).
