1.2 RC1 Won't start

Help!  I tried to open a project that was missing the *.lpr file and lazarus hung with the spinning pinwheel on Mavericks.  I know can't get it to open.  It just hangs.  I deleted the folder that had the corrupted project in it, deleted the Lazarus folder and reinstalled it but it still hangs.  It much have a user file that is corrupt can anyone give me a hint on where to look.

Just deleted the hidden .lazarus folder in my user folder and it asked where the debugger was but it again hung once it started to open the source editor....

Did RC1 start before?

There is an issue (will be fixed in RC2)

Try applying revision:
r43469 carbon: fix for freez if wakemainthread is called from the main thread prior to event loop initialization.

When you say revision do you mean from SVN? 

I just back dated to 1.08 and it works then installed 1.2 over it and still fails.

I downloaded the Lazarus SVN, compiled it and ran it.  It works.

Compiled just the patch on RC1 and it is now opening.
