OpenStreetMap application to view maps offline.

My wife is so representative of the idea to write to her aplikacjew which will be able to enter data about customers, orders - that was a great opportunity to see on a map where it was and where it was not already. I have downloaded the file offline maps OpenStreetMap XML format - the problem is that they do not quite know how to go about it and how to create image maps - please tips, hints, what to use - for every hint I would be very grateful.

No idea about the XML, but this is a (somewhat abandoned) map component that can work with OpenStreetMap based maps.

You can download OpenStreetMap data for offline use (whole world, continent, country or custom region) and run your own OSM server and renderer, and then use Lazarus MapViewer component for your custom GoogleMaps like offline visual representation and manipulation.

If you just need custom rendering of offline OSM data, then you can do it with LibMemphis and skip servers and MapViewer at all.
