To foster the use of Lazarus and Free Pascal in Science, Research and Technology, a new project "Lazarus and Free Pascal in Science" has been started at ResearchGate. The project aims in supporting the exchange of code snippets, algorithms and experiences in the use of Lazarus / FPC for scientific computing, including but not limited to biomedical research, computational statistics, bioinformatics, modelling and simulation, high-performance computing, and linguistic research.

Please login to ResearchGate and visit http://www.researchgate.net/project/Lazarus_and_Free_Pascal_in_Science/ to get registered.

Unfortunately, this ResearchGate Project is no longer available. This is a consequence of some reorganisation activities initiated by ResearchGate.

Of course, Lazarus and Free Pascal are still very interesting tools for Science, Research and Technology. Possible alternative resources to get information on scientific activities are:

I have reopened this thread for discussion in order to enable other members to contribute additional scientific resources.

Hm, it's a pity that the project does not exist anymore, because all alternatives are located at the resources, visited by programmers; it would be nice to have one at a resource of scientists.

Yes, you are right. It was the decision of ResearchGate to change their model of projects.

Please let me know, if you have an idea how to promote the use of Lazarus and Free Pascal in Science and Research.

In addition, there are records for Lazarus and Free Pascal at SciCrunch. There you may also find some citing articles:

See also the thread on Academic citation for a related discussion.
