Now I'd suggest some virtual machines instead of multiboot so that you can test your generated applications in their own environments ;)

Of course i use magic VirtualBox. But i work on a little Acer One without Virtualizer CPU and so the boot  of system in VirtualBox is very, very slow.
But it works and now with the new release of VirtualBoX_Host add in, i can use the USB slot for USB HD sharing (more easy coz using sharing folders is difficult to install for some systems).

But VirtualBox is perfect to test programs.

@ Dibo

With your tip to install 32 bits lib, i do not even need to use VirtualBox Linux 32, my Ubuntu 64 bits can run 32 bit application.
Many thanks.

I have got a little problem with Code Typhon.
In tab Libraries, a panel shows me lots of (libxxx.so NOT found !!!)
I have take a look at fpc.cfg and i change the path of 64 bits libraries, according with my system:

In the original fpc.cfg it was :
Quote
-Fl/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.2.3

But that folder does not exist in my system !
I change then with the reality of my system:

Quote
# searchpath for libraries
#ifdef cpux86_64
-Fl/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
#endif

But when i reload CodeTyphon, i have still the message of NOT found libraries.

I have checked if the links of libxxx.so where present and they are...

By the way, when compiling and cross-compiling, no problem, everything works perfectly (it is why i do not understand the warning missing libraries).

And, one more time, thanks for that revolution  :P

I use Lazarus 2.2.0 32/64 and FPC 3.2.2 32/64 on Debian 11 64 bit, Windows 10, Windows 7 32/64, Windows XP 32,  FreeBSD 64.
Widgetset: fpGUI, MSEgui, Win32, GTK2, Qt.

I used Lazarus with Linux Mint 13 mate (main OS of my pc) but it was very annoying the toolbar was full of lazarus windows, and mean-time I used lazarus on windows 7 in VirtualBox and it was good.

For now after format I am only using windows 7 and it is great for Lazarus

Lazarus has "anchor-docking" package which dock windows into one (like in Delphi 20XX)

Did you mean taskbar? Check Tools->Options->Environment->Window->Show single button in Taskbar

I know but I don't like docking on linux it's not fully supported on linux, I faced some problems with docking I can't remember what was it.

How can you conclude that?

Using easy docking, I can achieve the attached layout without problems.

Go to package -> configure installed packages. From right menu find AnchorDockingDsgn and double click on it to add. Then save and rebuild IDE.

BTW: There is also EasyDockMgrDsgn, but I preffer AnchorDockingDsgn

I asked myself the same question ;)

Tip: To save state of docked windows go to: Tools -> Save window layout as default. Now lazarus will remember your configuration

Because there are plenty of choices, currently there are at least 4 docking packages: anchor docking, easy docking (both shipped with lazarus), glass docking (by codetyphon) and kzdesktop (by RaphaelZ).
