Rework do not compile

Hi,
I try to install the zeos from rework but I get the message:

C:\lazarus\components\ZeosLib\src\component\ZAbstractRODataset.pas(342,14) Error: Not all declarations of "GetFieldData" are declared with OVERLOAD

in the zcomponent module

Any help ?

Hi,

It seems recent versions of fpc have broken ZEOS on Lazarus. On the following link, in the second message you can find a patched version that is supposed to work. I think I tried it, but didn't have much luck, but maybe you'll have a better time with it.

Unfortunately it looks like ZEOS development could be dead. I haven't seen any activity in CVS for two months now, even though there have been patches submitted for merging. There is also a bug with the date fields on Lazarus, just to let you know.

It seems that I may have spoken too soon about development being dead. From the ZEOS forums, there are some new developers, so hopefully the project will be revitalised.
