problem with ubuntu + MySQL

I installed all packages requireds and created a link symbolic to client of version 4.0.x of mysql and after install of package of it to lazarus when try connet return
one error :" External:SIGSEGV " and "some day a assemble window might popup there", because don't run , I do all instruction to install to kurumin or debian, but not access library client of mysql. Any people have idea ??? :?:
