No graphics?

Ok downloaded and compiled latest lazarus..
Everything went fine.. when i start lazarus there are no graphics for my controls or quick button.. Everything is there if i mouse over i see popup hints and can even place controls on the form.. just don't see them.. is this a simple config file i need to edit.

What is your compiler version?
If you are using fpc 1.0.10, you need to compile lazarus with the option -dDisableFPImage.
Another possiblilty is to get an updated compiler (and rtl, fcl units), a fpc 1.0.11 snapshot or 1.9.2 beta compiler.
