Where do I find current Lazarus DEB packages ?
« on: June 16, 2012, 09:08:08 am »
On the "daily snapshot" page, only rpm packages are current, the deb packages are three month old. I have got Ubuntu 10.04 and still have got an elder version. What to do?

Can I copy the current sources from the Windows installation or should I unpack the rpm packages? Which source directories do I need to copy? I need to install the fpc 260 compiler nevertheless, I assume.

Same, Lazarus is a single source project.

Which source directories do I need to copy?
In short: all, but you may want to skip fpc dir if the target has different fpc version.

2.6.X is OK, newer is OK as well.
