Custom component installing

I just downloaded some custom components and installed them in Lazarus. Everything seemed fine. I rebuilt the IDE as asked by the program, however no new component appeared (I got a message saying that the IDE was successfully rebuilt). Restarting Lazarus didn't worjed too.

They are now set to show under the "custom" tab, but I also tried change them to a already-shown tab (like "samples") but this seems not to be working too... How can I show the custom tab? Are there other steps to install custom components? Sorry for so many questions, but I'm completely new to Lazarus (and even to Linux development).
