After returning from my hols, I was getting a strange message when opening up Lazarus. I resolved this with a reinstall, using this advide: "That last sentence got me thinking, I did a search for everything on disk with the word 'Lazarus' in the file name and found a directory in documents and settings/username/local settings/Application data/lazarus. I uninstalled Lazarus, deleted any remains of the install directory and then deleted the data directory."
So now I can open up Lazarus without any messages appearing. However, when I try to compile and run a previously working program, I get this:
"Unable to create file c:\users\admin\documents\pascal\newcourse\arrays\project1.ico
Press OK to continue and risk data corruption or cancel to quit".
I guess as this is a new install, I need to do something in the Environment settings, but haven't a clue what to change. Can someone help, please?
