Question about CodeTyphon
« on: March 22, 2012, 02:19:02 pm »
This is a question that I posted on CodeTypon, but there doesn't seem to be many people frequenting those forums so I was hoping someone here might know.

How can I choose to have Lazarus built using the QT4 Widget sets? So far I REALLY like CodeTypon! Great work to all involved! But I'd really like to use the QT4 widget set if at all possible.

And are there any plans to include component sets that allow a slightly transparent background form without affecting the components on the form? The Lazarus Alphablend doesn't do it for me because it fades out the components as well.

I'm trying to use this to make somewhat transparent "widgets" like the KDE Plasma Widgets.

I am using Kubuntu 12.04 on a HP dv7 with 8 gb RAM.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Should be the same as standard Lazarus distribution. Specify LCL_PLATFORM=qt to make when building Lazarus (don't know where to put if you use the CodeTyphon app).
