Change look&feel of Menubar
« on: June 30, 2011, 12:46:08 pm »
Can't find if this has been mentioned before, but ...

Is there a way to influence the way the menu bar in my applications will look like?  Might be difficult (and against coding guidelines) on a Mac, but what about Windows?  Suppose I wanted a dark menu bar with white characters.  Adobe-Lightroom-look so to speak.

Of course you can draw your own menu, but it will not be a system menu.

Yeah,  I was kind of thinking of using this new ribbon thing that was offered to the Lazarus community lately.

From your answer I gather that the standard system menu at least can not be changed.

In Delphi you can find the AdvMenuStyler, but not in Lazarus.
