Linux equivalents to GetModuleHandle, etc.

In Kylix, Borland thoughtfully provided Linux equivalents to Win API functions such as GetModuleHandle, FindResource, GetResourceSize and LoadResource (in the System and SysUtils units). These were useful for working with a Win32-type version resource that's part of the executable.

Is there anything like this in Lazarus?

I'm working with Mac OS X, but I assume the functions would be available there too.
