Thanks BigChimp,
for the quick answer. I have downloaded the new version of fpcup, but I get apparently still the same error, as you can see in the attached output.

Looks like the wrong binary... (see the build date in the output)
Had a build error which I hadn't noticed... I've recompiled & uploaded again. When downloading you may need to clear your browser's cache...

Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks again BigChimp, the new version works much better.
I still had some errors from the assembler like:
>> system.s:9: Error: lo register required -- `stmfd r13!,{r3,r14}'
however based on an entry in another thread I changed -Cparmv7 to -Cparmv7A and they went away.
After sorting out some library links the crosscompiler seems to work also in Lazarus.

Glad it works ;)

What device are you crosscompiling for? Maybe I could/should update settings.ini...

I cross compile for BeagleBone Black.
This is the link to the discussion I got the hint from:

Going to take at least a temporary break from the forum.

Please report real fpcup bugs on the fpcup bug tracker
https://bitbucket.org/reiniero/fpcup/issues
Please be sure to include a --verbose log of the fpcup run in question and any other relevant details.

Closing this thread as I'm not monitoring it any more. Of course, please feel free to give each other support on fpcup on this forum or elsewehere.

Thanks for all your support!
