I have Tmemo on form.

When execute line :

memo1.lines.add('a>b');

I got this on screen:

a>b (?!?!?!?!?)

How to change this behavior???? I want ">" to be displayed on screen...

Lazarus 0.9.29, QT. I'll try it on on gtk2. "<" is good, only ">" is changed. "<>" is displayed properly, 1> ; 2> ..etc is changed to 1> 2>

EDIT: yes, it is QT related. Compiled on gtk2, all is OK.

I am downloading new Lazarus/fpc snapshot now; maybe it will help.

If still present in the latest snapshot you should report this in the bug tracker

Reported. Bug #17170. Mantis changed '>' in subject to '>' - looks like nonsense :(
